Frequently asked questions

When is check-in and check-out possible?

Check-in: from 3:00 p.m. 

Check-out: by 11:00 a.m. 

The minimum age for accommodation without an accompanying adult is 18 years.

The possibility of early check-in depends on current room availability and costs EUR 8 for each additional hour.

If you request an early check-in but the room is not available at that time, you may store your luggage free of charge.

Late check-out is available upon request, subject to hotel capacity, for a fee of EUR 8 per hour.

Is it possible to store luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, the hotel offers free luggage storage. 

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes, the hotel offers transportation to and from the airport for a fee.

The price per car for up to 4 persons is CZK 900 (EUR 39). It is necessary to book at least 48 hours in advance. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card directly to the driver.

To book a transfer contact please hotel reception by email: elysee@hhotels.cz and provide us with your flight details the flight number, departure city, arrival time and number of people.

Can we purchase extra items for the room? Do you offer other additional services?

Yes, the hotel offers the possibility of booking accommodation with extended services (so-called "special offers") when booking directly, e.g., a bottle of water in the room.

Additionally, the hotel offers the following complimentary services: a baby cot upon request, the option to borrow an ironing board and iron, currency exchange available directly at the hotel/reception, and assistance with booking tickets for cultural events, trains, buses, theatre performances, etc.

For an additional fee, the hotel offers: laundry service, flowers for EUR 40, a cake for EUR 40, a bottle of prosecco for EUR 25, a fruit basket for EUR 20, and a bottle of Moravian red wine for EUR 17.

Is there parking available at the hotel?

Yes, parking is available in the nearby underground garages close to Hotel Elysee.

The parking fee is CZK 700 / EUR 28 per car per night.

The maximum permitted vehicle height is 2.1 meters.

Parking capacity is limited; therefore, advance reservation by email through the reception is required.

Access to the garage is possible from 2:00 PM.

Departure from the garage is required by 12:00 PM.

Upon arrival, guests must first stop at the hotel reception, where they will receive a parking card and all necessary information.

Payment for parking is made at the hotel reception.

If all parking spaces are fully booked, the reception can recommend alternative parking nearby or via the website www.mrparkit.com.

How do I get to the hotel by public transport / what is the location?

The hotel is located directly on Wenceslas Square in the Jalta Passage, in the center of Prague. Thanks to this location, there are excellent connections to the metro and tram, and historical monuments, shops, and restaurants are also nearby. 

Hotel Elysee is about 200 meters from the MŮSTEK metro station (line A/B) and MUZEUM (line A/C).  Tram lines (3, 5, 6, 9, 14, 24, 91, 96)

From the airport, take bus line 59/119 to Nádraž Velestávín and take the metro to Můstek station. The hotel is located in the upper part of Wenceslas Square in the Jalta passage.

From the Main Station, take the metro to Muzeum station, then about 200 meters downwards.

How do I get to the city center or tourist destinations?

The hotel is located in the center of Prague, so all important places (the Old Town, monuments, shopping and cultural areas) are within walking distance.

Is breakfast included in the price?

Yes, the hotel serves a buffet breakfast, and for many rooms and apartments, breakfast is included in the price of accommodation, especially if you book through the website. 

Breakfast is included in the accommodation price and is served starting from the day after arrival.

Breakfast on the day of arrival can be purchased for CZK 350 (EUR 14) per person and must be ordered in advance with the hotel reception.

It is served daily from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Breakfast takes place in an air-conditioned breakfast restaurant.

Breakfast is served in the form of a hot and cold buffet.

Is Wi-Fi available in the hotel and rooms?

The hotel has high-speed Wi-Fi coverage in all areas. 

Are pets allowed?

Yes,  Hotel Elysee welcomes both cats and dogs.

A maximum of one pet is allowed per room.

The pet fee is CZK 390 (approximately EUR 15) per night.

Assistance and guide dogs stay free of charge.

It is recommended to inform the hotel in advance if you will be staying with a pet.

Pets are not allowed in the breakfast area due to the open buffet.

Does the hotel have conference/meeting rooms?

The hotel has two lounges with a capacity of approximately 40 people and a spacious breakfast/function room that can be used for meetings, business meetings, or small conferences. 

Services such as printing, copying, assistance with reservations, etc. can also be arranged at the reception desk.

A room for disabled guests is also available.

Room and apartment amenities include: beds (king-size or twin beds), bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, safe, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, work desk. 

The apartments also have a kitchenette, which is particularly practical for longer stays or families.

Do you offer gift vouchers or accommodation vouchers?

Yes, the hotel offers vouchers/accommodation packages and various special offers. 

What are the payment options and currency?

The hotel accepts card and cash payments (EUR, CZK).

Does the hotel have wheelchair access?

Yes, the hotel has a room for disabled guests and facilities suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Is the reception and hotel entrance accessible at all times?

The reception is open 24/7 (non-stop): entry is therefore possible at any time. 

Entrance from the Jalta passage: for security reasons, the gate is closed between midnight and 5:30 a.m. If you arrive during this time, use the bell at the gate and security will open it for you


What dining options and restaurants are in the area?

The hotel is located in the center, where there are many options - restaurants serving practically all cuisines of the world, cafes, fast food, snack bars.

There are also frequent markets and cultural events in the area - on such dates you can taste traditional Czech cuisine or buy handicrafts.

Is the hotel noisy?

The hotel is located in a busy area, but:

  • the rooms facing the courtyard are very quiet,
  • air conditioning allows you to close the windows even in summer.

Are the rooms modern?

The rooms are spacious, modernly equipped, offer air conditioning, high-quality Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds.

Most bathrooms have been newly renovated.

Is the hotel suitable for families?

Yes, thanks to the apartments with kitchenettes, the option of cribs, and the central location.

Can you walk to the main sights?

Yes, most attractions are within a 10-20 minute walk from the hotel.
